How Much is my Face Worth???

I've seen a few bloggers do this now, so I thought I'd jump on the band wagon and join in!! After reading these posts, it interested me, and had inspired me to do my own.

First I start with the L'OrĂ©al Infallible Primer (£7.99). I find this is a really good base, although it seems slightly oily. However, having said that, it keeps my makeup on all day, which is always good, especially for the days when it rains!!

Because I suffer from really bad redness, colour correcting is a must for me, so I use the NYX Professional Makeup Concealer Wand in Green (£6), and this works so well, as it gets rid of a lot of my redness, not all of it, but most of it.

Next I do my foundation, and my everyday one is the Rimmel Lasting Finish 25 Hr Foundation (£7.99) I have to say I've not worn it for 25 hours so I don't know whether that's true, but it lasts really well for me. It is a very full coverage foundation and I really like this as my redness can be covered up quite well with it. It blends really well and is the perfect shade for me, so I really like it.

After foundation is concealer, and I use the Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer (£4.19)and it works a dream!! It is really good under my eyes and it has amazing coverage, which I really like. The formula is really nice, it's so creamy and really easy to blend/buff into my skin.

After concealer, I move onto cream contour, and for this I use the NYX Wonder Stick in Light/Medium (£10) and this adds a subtle contour to my cheekbones, before I do normal powder contour. I really like the contour shade for everyday wear, because when it is blended it's quite subtle. It also works well as a base for my powder contour. I sometimes use the highlight shade in this, however, I have broken it, so I try not to use it a lot. If I use this, it would be on my chin, nose, forehead and my cheekbones. This adds a highlight, like a concealer, but not like a proper highlighter, and is a good base before applying highlighter.

I set this all into place with the Rimmel Clear Complexion Powder in Transparent (£3.99). This mattifies my face really well and it just works. I really don't know what to say when describing powder, because all it does is set your face!

After cream contouring earlier, I proceed to contouring my face with powder, and for this I use the Seventeen Define and Conquer Contour Kit (£5.99). I really like the contour shade in this as it creates quite a bronzed contour look. It is very pigmented, and I love it!! The highlight shade is so wearable, and I place this on my cheekbones, nose, chin and my forehead which adds a subtle highlight.

I next move into highlighter, which is probably my favourite step when putting on my makeup. For highlighting, I use the Sleek Solstice Palette (£9.99), and this has to be one of my holy grail products!! I love all the shades in this palette, especially the bottom two because they are stunning! I would recommend this to absolutely anyone, looking for 4 wearable, highly pigmented shades, suitable for any look!

I fill in my eyebrows with a shade from my Morphe 35O Palette (£23.50), and I clean up my eyebrows with the Rimmel Lasting Finish Concealer (£5.49). I prime my eyes with my primer, and use my Morphe palette for my eyeshadow usually. This product is raved about sooooo much, and I'm so happy that I own it. The shadows are so pigmented and so stunning!! It has to be my favourite palette that I own. Hands down.

And this is where my makeup can go completely wrong, eyeliner. I use the Supercat Liner by Soap and Glory (£6), and it makes eyeliner fairly easy for me, I say fairly because I always find it a bot of a challenge! I create a small wing on both eyes, and if it goes right, I celebrate, because 99.9% of the time, it goes wrong. If I ever miss out a step, this will be the one I miss.

Moving onto mascara: for my top lashes I use the Maybelline Lash Sensational Mascara (£7.99) and on my bottom lashes I use the Rimmel Extra 3D Lash Mascara (£4.99). Both mascaras add a lot of length and don't clump, which is why I like them. The Maybelline adds a lot of volume and is so black, but I'm really not sure if that's because I bought it in extra black, sooooo...

At the moment, my favourite lipstick has to be the MAC Lipstick in the shade Whirl (£16.50). I've only had it for less than a month, but the first time I put it on I was in love and I still am now! It applies so easily and looks so nice when its on. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a pretty nude colour.

To set my face, I use the Maybelline SuperStay 24Hr Setting Spray (£6.99). Like my foundation, I really don't know whether it lasts 24 hours because I haven't tested it, but it keeps my makeup on for majority of the day, so I'm quite happy with this. The only problem is if I don't shake it, it dries with white spots on my face, which I have to rub in and that can sometimes ruin my makeup.

Total Cost: £127.60

I'm actually surprised with the price, because I mainly use high street/drugstore products, but I'm very happy with all of the products I use.

How much does your face cost??? love
