My Favourite Reads

I'm back today with a different post and it's something I've never written before, and it's my favourite books. I don't read as often as I should but I have read a fair bit recently so I am recommending my favourite books to you.

Everything Everything

This book is incredible. It is so heart-warming, and follows the story of Maddy who battles SCID, a rare illness which permits her to leave her home. She meets a boy next door called Olly, and Maddy's world suddenly changes. I felt such a variety of emotions whilst reading this book, and it was emotional but I didn't cry. Not a lot makes me cry. It is a mature book so I recommend this to 12+.

Also, after seeing the film twice, i can say that the book is better in my opinion, but the film is amazing!

All The Bright Places

I managed to read this book in about a week when I was on holiday and I was honestly hooked: I couldn't put it down. This book is the story of Finch and Violet, and how friendship grows over a school project. Again this is mature, and more than Everything Everything, however, the author tackled the job very well. This book did surprise me a lot, and always had me asking questions. If you haven't given this a read I would suggest you do!

Thirteen Reasons Why

This is my current book and I am about half way through, however, it is one of my favourites. I have seen the series so I know the story, but I bought the book to see how it compares to the series, and it is very similar. I loved the series and I really like the book. I'm not going into the story too much because I'm sure most of you know it because it was very popular back in April.

So I hope you enjoyed finding out my favourite books. I haven't read too many so I can't recommend lots, but I am trying to get better! Let me know your suggestions of books I should read in the comments, love
