Stepping Out of My Comfort Zone: OOTD

I've been getting into fashion a lot more recently and I have been stepping out of my comfort zone more and trying some different trends. And I decided to be a bit more adventurous a couple of weeks ago, so decided to take some photos (I'm pre-writing as mocks are coming up!) and decided to write a post on it!

The main focus in this outfit is the jumper and I got this from Pull&Bear in the boxing day sales. I was so happy when I picked this up because it had been on my wishlist for quite a while! It was £15.99 which I didn't think was too bad for a jumper because the quality of it is amazing: it's so soft and warm, hence why I went out with no coat in the middle of January! It has the writing 'NEW YORK' across the middle in white which contrasts with the navy blue colour of the jumper and the coloured stripes that run below it. What I love about this is the sleeves, and the fit of the jumper. It is so baggy which I love but it does hinch in (if that's the right words) at the waist, so it doesn’t drown me!

I paired this with my favourite trousers and these are from Asda, and I actually received this as a hand-me-down item so I'm not sure on the cost. I love the pattern on the trousers, as it is a grey checked print which I adore, I think it's smart but can also be dressed down with a jumper and trainers like I have done. The fit is perfect, despite the fact I have extremely long legs and a small waist, they sit nicely on my hips.

To finish the look off I wore my New Balance 373s which are in bright blue, so I can never be missed when I'm out! I love these trainers because I think they're quite retro and I love the colour. I also wore my Fiorelli backpack (do you wear a backpack?) which I recently did a post on, and I also wore the Clear Fake Glasses from Primark which were £1!! So worth the money!

Overall I really liked this look and it was worth stepping out of my comfort zone that little bit! Let me know if you think I should do more fashion posts like this, love

mee xo
